My name is Skye Laro. I am a product designer at DLS. I graduated from Humber College in 2023 with a bachelours degree of industrial design with a major in automotive design.
I grew up learning about vehicles from a young age, which developed into a passion.
During college, I worked at an automotive repair shop, which taught me skills and knowledge regarding vehicle maintenance and mechanical operations, broadening my understanding of the synergy between vehicle components and the user.
My internship during college was at C4P Industries, where I assisted in the start-to-finish process of developing specialized products (i.e., solar panels, air purifiers, and smart home systems).
In my spare time, I enjoy working on cars, drawing, and attending motorsport events.
